Rules for poster section
For the young scientists, participating in the Humboldt Kolleg "Education and Science and their Role in Social and Industrial Progress of Society", Organizing Committee has established the prize in the nomination "Humboldt Future".
This competition is available for all young participants of the Humboldt Kolleg, who have completed their doctorate within last 12 years (PhD-students are also invited).
Rules for posters:
The poster size should meet the A1 format (594 x 841 mm). The poster should be presented in English and begin with a title, author's name and affiliation. In all other respects the structure of the poster is up to the author.
Participants should present their own research, which may be not connected with the main topic of the Humboldt Kolleg.
The Young Scientists Poster Session will take place at the exact time according to the Conference Program. The authors of the posters who will not be present near their poster at this time will not take part in the competition.
Competition Criteria:
- Scientific Novelty.
- Personal Input of the Speaker.
- General view of Presentation.
- Manner of Presentation.
For nonresidents the Organizing Committee may give the accommodation for the period of the Kolleg. Since the financial means are limited the accommodation may be granted only to the restricted number of participants. Only the early bird registration will meet this support.
